Acceptance of Customer Order - our contract
When you place a new order on the gamespier website, an order confirmation page will display. The page will confirm receipt and details of your order with us, this is not a contract to a sale at this point. It however represents an offer to us to purchase - it is accepted immediately when debiting your card and despatching the items to you.
Items which are available - payment is taken when we are ready to dispatch your order to you.
Preorder titles (i.e. titles which are available to preorder and have not yet been released) - in order to secure your preorder, payment will be taken within 29 days of order placement.
Please ensure that your account address is the address your card is registered to. This will avoid any delays in payment or postage of your order.
To provide you with a peace of mind service - all items which are within the Royal Mail 1st class size regulations can be sent either FREE first class delivery or signed for (small price supplement) - your option.
Heavier or bulkier items are despatched using a tracked courier service.
Your order will usually be despatched to you within 7-10 days or often much earlier, but on the rare occasions this delivery aim cannot we met, we will ensure we keep in close contact with you at all times, please allow 28 days in case any item is not in current stock. Should any item be in excess of 28 days we will pass on all known information to you. Should you have any concerns we will be happy to hear from you as paramount to us is giving the best possible customer service.
Pre-order items were orders are received 4-5 days prior to the release date, will be despatched by Free 1st class (signed for an option) the days before the release date.
Most goods will require a signature upon delivery for your peace of mind. All deliveries will be made Monday to Saturday 9-5pm.
gamespier wish your order to go as smoothly as possible. We take care to describe our products with as much accuracy as possible. We reserve the right to inform the customer of any incorrect information before payment is taken.
We wish to make the returning of any item for refund or exchange as easy and smooth as possible for you, please follow the instructions outlined below for the individual scenarios:
In all cases and in the first instance please contact gamespier by e-mail, letter or telephone. Returns must be within 14 days of the receipt of your order.
When packaging items for return please ensure that the items are protected well against damage, much in the same way that your items were sent to you. It must be noted that all items must be received in a resaleable condition with all tags attached etc.
Unhappy with your purchase:
Any item will be accepted for either a full refund or replacement item. Again, this must be received back within 7 days of receipt of goods and must be received back in a resaleable condition, factory sealed (if applicable), tags etc attached. Postage costs are not refundable. We may restrict the exchanges of CDs, DVDs, Videos and Computer Software to the same title due to the problem of unlicensed copying. We do adhere to the Distance Selling Regulations - as such should the item be the subject of the 7 day cooling off period - we will refund your order in full.
Should you receive an item from gamespier that has a manufacturing fault, please in the first instance contact us within 14 days of receipt of item. From this initial contact we will be happy to action an exchange first (if the item is still attainable) or refund should the item be unavailable.
Damaged in Transit:
Where it is felt your items have arrived with you damaged, where the likely cause has been during the shipping of your order, please notify gamespier within 3 days of goods receipt. At this point a claim will be raised against the postal company responsible. We will then, on most occasions, ask for the damaged items to be returned to us for refund or exchange.
gamespier understands the dissapointment and stress that can be caused to a customer when a delivery goes wrong, therefore via contact with yourselves we will ensure any such problems are effectively dealt with to your satisfaction.
Incorrect item delivered:
On the rare occasions that you receive an item that is different to the one you ordered and/or has appeared on your paperwork, please return the item within 14 days of receipt for a refund/exchange.
Please make a note of our address for any returns, all we ask is for you to make contact with us before returning any goods to us, for there will be occasions where solutions can be offered to your total satisfaction without sending items back.
